DEBUT ELECTRONIC KEYBOARD
DEMONSTRATIONS

This demo used an early key prototype and my self-constructed IR sensor circuit to prove the concept. Watch the DMM display on the left and you can see it react to my key presses as digital HIGH's and LOW's.

This early demo demonstrated the functionality of the MIDI serial data communications, the VS1053B's ability to translate that data into analog audio, and the audio amplifier's ability to amplify and play the audio. The MIDI data was generated by a simple test program.

This demo combined the functionalities demonstrated in the two previous demonstrations. In this video, one key is pressed and MIDI data is generated by the arduino accordingly. This data is then decoded and translated to analog audio, amplified, and played out of the speaker.
